Our vision is to help all dog owners keep their dogs out of trouble by keeping their minds active and theirlife full of fun and enrichment.
Our Catagories are a little different than your usual online pet store – that’s because we want dog owners to know that not all dog toys are created equal. Dog toys are all designed to fulfill a particular need of your dogs natural instincts, so take your time and have a look at some of the fun things that we have on offer for your dog.
A Note from Rex:
Hi there! My name is Rex, and I am a Kelpie-Staffy X that lives in the suburbs of Brisbane in an average little house, with an average little backyard. This is my website, and it is a website designed to help dogs and dog owners all over the world!
You see all us dog’s use to have jobs to do – some were great like herding and guarding sheep or cattle, some hunted big animals, some hunted small animals. Some jobs were not so great like fighting bulls, bears or even other dogs! Today, mind you, most of us dogs don’t get to do much at all. Even (some say especially) dogs like me who are known as working dogs,only rarely get to work. Sure we might get to go for a walk once a day, but that’s about it – the rest of the day we’re in the backyard or the house not doing much – and it’s all a bit boring.
I know cause that’s what my life use to be like, and I was yelled at and got in heaps of trouble because I use to find things to do all by myself – like chewing on plants, digging for stuff, I use to have a great game of tug with the clothing on the line. I’d even escape the back yard in hopes to find something new and exciting to do. I was your average suburban sprawl dog – owners at work and nothing to do. With a whole heap of energy to expend – plus getting into heaps of trouble for expending it.
All that changed one day when I met Jen. A person like no one I had ever met before. She is called a “Dog Trainer” and she said that I had all this energy because I wasn’t getting enough mental stimulation. That means that I wasn’t getting to think enough like dogs use to do when they had jobs. She said that because I wasn’t really going to be rounding up some sheep any-time soon, that I needed something called enrichment… that means activities that give me something to think about. These activities are great! They are fun and get me to think – and that really wears me out!
You know what… the best bit of all, because I get to think about stuff, I don’t get in trouble any more!
And that is what this website is for, to help dogs like me and people like you with heaps of different toys and products that can keep dogs like me entertained! I hope you enjoy your visit, and find something great for your dog.
